A transformative week of embodied learning, nestled in the forests of South Africa's Garden Route.

In a world that often feels fast, disconnected, and demanding, there is a growing longing to return to the body to stillness, to meaning, to the wisdom that lives beneath the noise. In June 2026, The Good Earth Farm will host a deeply immersive week of Intuitive Massage Therapy training, led by renowned bodyworker and healer Odette Livni, founder of Coastal Touch and a practitioner with over 30 years of experience in both Eastern and Western healing traditions.
"This course doesn't separate the physical from the emotional or spiritual. Odette's method recognises that true healing is whole and that the healer's presence is as important as their technique."
A holistic approach to healing
This is not a standard massage qualification course. It is a comprehensive, embodied journey through a wide spectrum of healing practices, grounded in the understanding that the body holds our stories, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Participants are guided to access their own innate wisdom, developing not just technical skill but genuine presence as practitioners.
The curriculum spans an extraordinary breadth of modalities, including reflexology, lymphatic drainage, pressure point release, meridian therapy, sports massage, shiatsu, Ayurvedic yoga massage, chakra balancing, holistic massage, mindfulness practices, conscious movement, and guided meditation.
An experiential way of learning
Unlike many training programmes that prioritise theory, this course is primarily experiential. Students learn through demonstration, observation, and hands-on exchange with one another, embodying the knowledge rather than merely acquiring it. The week includes guided theoretical sessions, a comprehensive course manual, and both individual and group practical sessions throughout.
At its core, Odette's method rests on a profound understanding of the human being in all dimensions, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Rather than offering quick solutions, this approach attunes to each person's natural rhythms, building a practice that is as intuitive as it is skilled.
About Odette Livni
Odette is the founder of Coastal Touch, a self-taught method developed over more than three decades of deep study and practice in both Eastern and Western bodywork traditions. Her work is rooted in the belief that the healer's own embodiment, their stillness, their listening, their presence, is the foundation of any truly healing touch. She brings to this training not just technique, but a way of being with the body.
The setting: The Good Earth Farm
The course takes place at The Good Earth Farm in The Crags, on South Africa's magnificent Garden Route, a biodynamic, permaculture-based farm nestled at the foot of the Tsitsikamma Mountains. The farm is a living ecosystem: orchards, gardens, and forest trails unfold around you, and the air carries the clarity of a place that is tended with love and intention.
Participants stay in two beautifully designed villas, sharing accommodation in a peaceful, restorative setting. Meals are farm-to-table vegetarian, prepared fresh each day, nourishing food that supports the body's own process of opening and renewal.
The farm sits within easy reach of some of the Garden Route's most celebrated landscapes, Knysna, Keurboomstrand, and the ancient forests of Tsitsikamma, offering a sense of deep belonging to the natural world that deepens the work of the course.
