The Good Earth Accommodation
Reconnect to who you are... Nourish body, mind and soul in harmony with nature
Accommodation at The Good Earth Farm consists of two spacious farmhouses and a selection of quirky cottages, all with magnificent forest views and/or garden settings. Evolved over a period of thirty years as we as a family lived in spaces, turning them into our homes, decorating and developing with a love for nature, creativity and sustainability, before moving on to make way for our guests and to continue with our creative journey.
Forest View Homestead
The Good Earth Forest View Homestead comprises 3 en-suite and 1 non-en-suite bedrooms. The open-plan entertainment areas and three of the four bedrooms have views over the indigenous forest and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. The 4th bedroom has a separate outside entrance from a courtyard located near the front door and shares the bathroom with the one en-suite bedroom upstairs. This bedroom is ideal for older children who could share a bathroom with parents or younger siblings.
A well-equipped kitchen, scullery and laundry make catering a breeze. The homestead is off the grid, so energy-wasting appliances such as heaters and tumble dryers are not available. Energy-wise alternatives such as a sunny washing line, clothes horse, open fireplaces and cosy blankets with hot water bottles are supplied instead. A gas cooker top and a microwave oven are available. The villa has an Air Fryer, juicer and blender. It is serviced daily, assisting with employment of our local community, so washing dishes, laundry and basic cleaning, including making beds, cleaning floors and bathrooms, are taken care of daily, ensuring you relax during your stay.
Spacious lounge with stacking doors opening onto breathtaking views of the forest and a lovely huge fireplace to cosy up to in cooler weather. Open plan kitchen, dining and verandah adjacent to the pool with Barbecue deck and fire pit makes this a lovely space to socialise and spend time enjoying the temperate weather and spectacular sun and moon rises over the mountains..
The Homestead garden is fenced for medium to large dogs - the fence is not suitable for containing small breeds. All well-behaved pets are welcome as we love animals. Owners are expected to ensure their dogs do not damage the premises in any way, please. Dogs should have their own beds and are not allowed on the furniture.
Our farm is off the grid, so no load shedding. We offer free unlimited wifi, making The Good Earth Farm a great workcation venue.
Good Earth Farm house
The Good Earth Farmhouse is nestled right on the forest edge, and offers a serene retreat with breathtaking views of the indigenous forest and Tsitsikamma Mountains. Four en-suite bedrooms and open plan entertainment areas provide the perfect setting to unwind and connect with nature.

This includes tasks such as washing dishes, laundry, and basic cleaning, as well as making beds, cleaning floors, and bathrooms, all of which are taken care of daily, ensuring you can relax during your stay.

Stable Cottage
Rustic Stables lovingly converted into a spacious, off-grid, light and bright cottage. Salvaged Oregon windows and doors, furnished with vibrant colours and carefully selected quirky furniture. Slow-cooked meals in the Esse wood-burning stove whilst enjoying the warmth it brings to the entire living space. Explore picking fresh herbs, salad greens, seasonal berries, and fruits from the surrounding food garden, and light a fire in the fire circle while marvelling at the starry night sky.
The Good Earth Stable Cottage comprises a mezzanine-level bedroom with a king-size bed and a single sleeper couch on the enclosed verandah. The open-plan entertainment areas open onto fragrant herb and vegetable gardens, as well as the farm dam. Magnificent distant views over the Tsitsikamma Mountains, Forest and surrounding farm land.
