Local Attractions

​Attractions nearby include the nature reserves of Robberg, Stormsriver, the Garden Route National Park, and Nature's Valley.  Numerous animal sanctuaries in the area include Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Tenikwa Cat Sanctuary, The Crags Elephant Sanctuary, and the Jukani Cat and Wildlife Sanctuary.

Eco-activities include whale and dolphin watching, swimming with seals, horse riding, guided land-based great white shark viewing, surfing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and paddleboarding in the rivers and lagoons, as well as boat trips up the river and deep-sea fishing.  Plettenberg Bay and The Crags are home to the Southern Hemisphere’s International Polo Season from November to April at the surrounding Polo Estates.

We have a mini wine route surrounding Plettenberg Bay producing world-class MCC, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir with boutique estates including Newstead, Bramon, Kay and Monty Wine Estates offering wine tastings, tours and delectable tappas-style lunches and less than ten minutes’ drive from The Good Earth Farm.

Farmers’ Markets are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and Farm Stalls offer fresh farm produce, as well as speciality food stores such as Robberg Seafood and The Deli Factory, which provide fresh local seafood and excellent quality, locally sourced meat. This makes cooking your own delicious meals an absolute pleasure.  Plettenberg Bay and the surrounding area also offer numerous excellent restaurants.

The beaches of Plettenberg Bay, Keurboomsstrand and Nature’s Valley are a couple of minutes’ drive away.
