Nestled in the heart of The Crags, 17 km East of the popular Coastal Town of Plettenberg Bay on South Africa’s scenic Garden Route, The Good Earth Farm is a haven for those seeking a deeper connection with nature and themselves.
Our self-catering accommodations offer a peaceful retreat for guests from around the world, providing a serene escape from the relentlessness of daily life.
Our farm is a thriving ecosystem based on permaculture and biodynamic principles, where you can:

The Good Earth Offers
An exceptional villa in a breathtaking location
We had villa II and it is really quite something. Surrounded by a lush Garden Route garden with a view out over the forested Crags, the vine clad verandah edged by a beautiful pool with a fire pit on a deck, the lounge area with floor to ceiling windows, a sprawling kitchen area ready for cooking a five course meal, and the huge bedrooms with lovely en suite bathrooms and walk in cupboards. The daily staff looked after us so well and it is conveniently located close to Plettenberg Bay while still being tucked away from the N2. And all of this in the middle of winter, we cannot wait to return in summer and enjoy this special place even more.

Unique garden cottage stay
Fantastic setting, loved the gardens and the peace and quiet of nature. The cottage was unique and just perfect...attention to detail on everything...from the chairs,artwork,potplants, fresh flowers in each room... to the kitchen supplies to the extra comfy bed and soft bedding ! Debbie and her staff are very welcoming and always ready to help if needed.

This place was just something else. So peaceful, beautifully decorated with a beautiful outside area and garden. Felt right at home. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen is super well equipped. Can’t forget to mention that the bed was extremely comfortable and big! The location is great too; Quiet but all activities is closeby (beaches, hikes, plettenberg). There’s also yoga classes which we joined 10/10 recommended. Deborah was the friendliest and most responsive host. Cant wait to be back one day! Thank you
